Lord Knows I'm Not A Fighting Man, But I Want To Punch This Shirt To Death.
You know what, the existence of this Justin Bieber/Black Flag t-shirt makes me think that I may be getting too old for the internet. I think I've reached some sort of irony threshhold, and this definitely crosses it. I'm not exactly sure how though, strangely enough. If I had seen a character in a comic or cartoon with this logo on their shirt, I would have appreciated the irony and laughed. When I first saw the picture I assumed it was a mildly humorous photoshop. Apparently, however, the fact that this is an actual thing and you can buy it rubs me the wrong way.
I think it's because I now have to confront the fact that someone somewhere is going to buy this. Maybe even wear it. This isn't the same as wearing a worn-out thrift store Color Me Badd or Kenny G shirt ironically. This isn't even the same as wearing one of those fake thrift-store t-shirts that have been infuriating me for about a decade. This is worse somehow, and what makes it even harder to deal with is that I can't exactly put my finger on why.
Get the hell off my lawn.

8-Bit Vanilla Sky (With River City Ransom Sprites!).
Most of the time, I feel like I'm the only one left that still likes the movie "Vanilla Sky".
And we all know how I feel about River City Ransom, god amongst mere video games.
Here is a video that collides River City Ransom with Vanilla Sky, and creates a sandwich made of awesome.

123456 POKEMON! New Lemon Demon Song!
Holy crap this song is still making me chuckle! And I totally approve of the newest addition of 8-bit crunch to the multi-layer 4 cheese lasagna that is the music of Lemon Demon.
Man am I going to be tormenting my friends and loved ones with lines from this track in the next couple of days...
In case you've never heard of Neil Cicierega (aka Lemon Demon), he's the guy that, at 15 years old, invented the video technique/genre Animutation, and before he turned 20 releasd a track ("The Ultimate Showdown Of Ultimate Destiny") that became the #1 hit on The Dr.Demento Show for that year (video below).

2NU Gives Their Only Hit Album Away For Free... Ponderous.
Remember the band 2Nu? Yeah, me neither; but I remember their novelty sound-collage hit "This Is Ponderous". If you were at least in third grade by the late 80s, see if this song doesn't ring a bell (not the real video).
This song was the only one of theirs to even reach marginal mainstream radio play. Want to get it high quality for free? Well, go to their website, where you can snag the whole dang album. If you decide you want to pay for it, they also have links to their iTunes page.

Too Awesome For Words.
(I'm withholding any introduction to not ruin the surprise for anyone who hasn't seen this video before. Trust me, it's awesome.)

Will A Cacodemon Blend?
This is the video that inspired this site.
I don't even remember what I was looking for in the first place. Next thing I know, I'm watching this video. And I realize I am really watching a video about attempting to pulverize a Cacodemon from Doom in a blender. And I think to myself, "This has got to be the dorkiest thing I've seen all day!"
The rest is history.
